Mystery Trader Hits 10x Return on Zcash, Bagging Over $150 Million

A mystery trader shocked the financial world by hitting a massive 10x return on Zcash (ZEC-USD), turning a $15.85 million investment into a giant $150 million fortune in just one year. On-chain data tracking firm Arkham found the jaw-dropping account, showing the lucky investor is still holding around $126 million that sits untouched on the blockchain. This huge win puts the focus right back onto privacy-focused crypto tokens like Zcash as big Wall Street names start rushing into the space.

Smart Investors Use Patient Accumulation Tactics

The secret wallet did not make its money overnight through short-term gambling. Instead, the mystery investor used a highly disciplined buying plan, slowly picking up massive amounts of Zcash tokens during quiet market times. This careful buying strategy allowed the anonymous user to build a giant position without accidentally pushing the token price up before finishing their purchases.

The amazing 10x return happened because Zcash went through a huge comeback, skyrocketing up to local peak highs. High-profile investors and market experts have recently shared their vocal support for the privacy coin. This big backing, along with a plan from Grayscale to launch a spot Zcash exchange-traded fund, gave the asset the fuel it needed to launch the whale’s wallet to its current multi-million dollar value.

Regulatory Safety Fuels Demand for Privacy Tokens

The main reason behind this massive wealth creation comes from a big shift in how rich crypto investors protect their cash. Government agencies have greatly improved their tools to track normal Bitcoin deals, making it clear to wealthy individuals that public ledgers offer very little real privacy. This realization has started a massive movement of cash toward alternative blockchain networks that have built-in privacy features.

While older privacy coins like Monero (XMR-USD) face total bans from normal trading apps due to strict anti-money-laundering laws, Zcash avoids this trap because of its unique setup. The network offers optional privacy tools, letting users pick between open public receipts or completely hidden deals. These combined pieces allow the token to stay safely listed on big trading apps like Binance and Coinbase ($COIN), making sure major funds can easily move tens of millions of dollars into the asset.

At the time of writing, Zcash’s token is sitting at $535.21.
