Cascade Copper Corp. ( ($TSE:CASC) ) has shared an update.
Cascade Copper reported final assay results from two holes in its maiden five-hole, 600-metre Phase 1 drill program at the Centrefire Copper-Gold Project in northwestern Ontario. Holes CF-26-03 and CF-26-05 intersected continuous copper, gold, and silver mineralization over their full lengths, including 1.27% copper equivalent over 10.5 metres within 0.46% copper equivalent over 69.0 metres from surface.
Management highlighted multiple intervals grading more than 1% copper equivalent as evidence of strong potential at Centrefire and confirmed that all five holes encountered sulphide veining consistent with a hybrid magmatic-hydrothermal system. With assays from two remaining holes still pending, Cascade Copper is preparing a Phase 2 drill program, signalling a move to systematically test the emerging mineralized envelopes and potentially enhance its exploration profile in the region.
