Lockheed Martin was awarded a not-to-exceed $245.75M undefinitized cost-plus-fixed-fee order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement. This order provides program management support, non-recurring engineering, F-35B/C laser shock peening, depot site support, contractor field and regional depot modification installations in support of retrofit and modification efforts for the F-35 aircraft for the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, Foreign Military Sales, or FMS, customers, and non-U.S. Department of Defense, or DOD, partners. Work is expected to be completed in December 2023. FY23 aircraft procurement funds in the amount of $17.21M; FY23 aircraft procurement funds in the amount of $15.68M; FMS customer funds in the amount of $15.61M and non-U.S. DOD participant funds in the amount of $22.1M will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command is the contracting activity.
