Banco Santander (ES:SAN) has released an update.
Banco Santander has announced an interim cash dividend of 10 euro cents per share, amounting to roughly 25% of its first half 2024 underlying profit, in line with its commitment to a shareholder remuneration policy targeting approximately 50% of profits. The dividend will be payable from November 1st, 2024, with the ex-dividend date set for October 30th. This interim dividend complements the ongoing share buyback program as part of the bank’s strategy to enhance shareholder value.
