U.S. solar is entering "unchartered territory" as the country’s largest market, California, could experience steep year-over-year declines in residential installations once policy-driven backlog is worked through, likely by end of this year, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The demand outlook and extreme weather impact have already been well-flagged, however, the firm contends.
